These kiln posts are rated up to cone 11 in oxidation or reduction atmospheres.
We suggest using three posts per shelf for stability.
Always try to stack each layer of posts directly above each other so that the weight of all shelves rests on the kiln floor and not on the shelf below.
These posts are all 1 3/4″ X 1 3/4″ square and are available in the following sizes;

These kiln shelves are made from a refractory mix that is high in alumina.
They are rated for use up to cone 11 in oxidation or reduction atmospheres.
We suggest using three posts per shelf for optimum stability.

Two kilograms kiln wash.
Kiln Wash is used to protect kiln shelves from glaze drips and pottery from sticking to the shelves.
It comes as a powder which you mix with water to a milky consistancy.Apply it to the top side of kiln shelves with a brush.
It is better to apply several thin layers than one thick layer.
Please do not apply kiln wash to the bricks of your kiln.
If you require kiln wash for glass slumping please specify.
